About the Project:
Market Dynamic is a strategic initiative aimed at establishing the EEM trading function and the portfolio management function. The project involves the development of a new tool, Evolio, and enhancing its features through an Agile methodology.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a solid background in the energy trading sector. In this role, you will play a key part in understanding and analyzing business requirements while supporting the software development team to deliver high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and contribute to successful project deliveries. Additionally, you will analyze production incidents, collaborate with developers and other teams (such as L2 support) to resolve issues, and ensure timely solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed business and functional requirements analysis for software projects within the energy trading sector.
Collaborate with traders, business managers, and IT teams to gather and document business needs.
Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
Work closely with software development teams to ensure the effective translation of requirements into scalable solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide actionable recommendations.
Support the design and implementation of testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Participate in project planning, review meetings, and provide regular progress updates.
Analyze and troubleshoot production incidents, collaborating with developers and L2 support teams to identify root causes and provide timely resolutions or workarounds.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the energy trading sector.
Strong knowledge of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, with a preference for Allegro ETRM experience.
Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Azure, JIRA, and Confluence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Evolio or similar trading tools.
Familiarity with incident management processes and collaboration with support teams.

I joined the Arnia team in 2011 on the XpressEngine project (PHP based CMS, most popular in South-East Asia) and now I’m leading the team that develops our own CMS, Karybu.
